about us
We are the church of Christ located at 175 Gooder Simpson Blvd in Piedmont, Oklahoma. We are an assembly of Christians who believe in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures and are dedicated to following the ordinances and teachings of the Bible.
When Jesus talked to Nicodemas in John 3:3, he said all must be “born again” to be part of the kingdom of God. Today, we know how to do that from the New Testament scriptures.
When Jesus talked to the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:24 he said God seeks individuals who will worship him in “spirit and in truth.” Today, we know how to do that from the New Testament scriptures.
Today, we hear Jesus our Savior as he speaks the same message to everyone, “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).
This is the same Redeemer who promised his Apostles, “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18). That church began in the first century as described in Acts 2 and is identified as the church of Christ (Romans 16:16).
We welcome you to worship with us at any of our services. As you will see, it is our desire to very carefully follow what the Bible says, nothing more and nothing less.
We welcome your requests to answer Bible questions, to meet for Bible study, or for a Bible correspondence course.
